Angella Muhumuza is a highly self-driven Customer Care Specialist with a people-first attitude and a passion for excellence in service. Doreen Nanfuka is a consulting Program Officer at My Doctor, a digital healthcare organization that provides telemedicine services to underserved communities in Africa. Bridget Nakakuyu Wamai is an accomplished finance and financial inclusion professional with over 5 years of experience. Bridget is the head of the finance department at My Doctor. She possesses a sharp eye for detail and excels in managing accounts payable, performing detailed cost analysis, and maintaining accounting records and files. Bridget is also proficient in developing budget estimates and conducting audits. She is a skilled communicator with exceptional analytical abilities and is known for her strong teamwork skills.

Sharon Nambozo joined My Doctor in 2022 as a Business Development Officer. With a law degree from Makerere University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Sharon has extensive experience as a lawyer at a top law firm and as in-house counsel for HiPipo Foundation. She is highly skilled in navigating the legal landscape surrounding healthcare and has a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment governing healthcare organizations.
DAVID MWESIGA
Lead Clinician
David Mwesiga is a qualified clinician and public health specialist who leads the Clinical Department of My Doctor Digital Health Care Services. He has a special interest in obstetrics and gynecology. David obtained his Clinical Medicine Diploma from Gulu Medical School in 2016 and completed his Public Health Degree from Uganda Martyrs University in 2021. With over 7 years of clinical experience and additional training in obstetrics and gynecology, he has successfully treated numerous patients with various health issues, including infertility, menopause, high-risk pregnancies, and safe deliveries.
As of February 2023, David has administered safe delivery to 478 babies, including 16 sets of twins. His dedication to providing excellent patient care has earned him a reputation as a reliable and compassionate clinician.
David is also actively involved in philanthropic work and enjoys spending time with his family. In his free time, he is a football enthusiast and follows the sport passionately.

Abart Aturinda is an accomplished Allied Health Professional born in Rubanda district, formerly Kabale district. With a wealth of experience spanning several years, he has made significant contributions to the healthcare industry in Uganda. Abart previously served as the laboratory In charge of Uganda Muslims Supreme Council Health Centre III Mityana and is currently working as a lab specialist at My Doctor.

Justus Akampurira is a highly skilled laboratory specialist with over 9 years of experience in his field. Hailing from Rubanda district in Greater Kabale, he has been serving as a laboratory assistant at My Doctor since the 2014 update. With a passion for excellence and a keen eye for detail, Justus has played an integral role in providing accurate diagnoses and quality patient care. His expertise includes conducting a wide range of laboratory tests, ensuring the safety and integrity of lab equipment and samples, and maintaining accurate records. He is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field and is always eager to take on new challenges in order to further develop his skills.

Estates Manager
Eng. Pius Kavuma is a seasoned Estates Manager with over two decades of experience in electric engineering, carpentry, and plumbing. He previously worked at Kitovu Missionary Hospital, the second-largest hospital in southern Uganda, owned by the Catholic Church, Diocese of Masaka. Currently serving as Estates Manager at My Doctor, he is responsible for overseeing the management of the hospital’s physical infrastructure, facilities, and equipment.

Arthur Mwesiga is a highly qualified and experienced Counselor, currently leading the Guidance and Counseling department at My Doctor. 13 years of experience in this field, he holds a Bachelor’s degree of Guidance and Counseling and a Masters of Arts in Public Relations and Media Management. Arthur is highly computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Arthur has exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills that greatly contribute in his role as a Counselor. George Kasakya is a versatile and experienced creative with a passion for humanity. With over 20 years of experience in content development, programming, entrepreneurship, fine arts, photography, and filmmaking, he brings a wide range of skills to the table. As a fine artist, George specializes in batik, watercolor, pencil, and wood, and is also skilled in designing with epoxy resins. He is an accomplished photographer with experience in portrait, landscape, and event photography. As a filmmaker, George has written film scripts, created visual effects, and shot films and documentaries. In addition, he is an experienced web developer, having developed numerous websites, applications, and logos, with expertise in REST APIs development using NodeJS.

Innocent Kawooya is a co-founder of My Doctor. He also a co-founder and CEO of HiPipo, an established digital and financial inclusion company in Africa. With over 15 years of experience in the FinTech industry, Kawooya is a specialist in financial inclusion, women empowerment, computer programming, film production, and entertainment. In 2021, he ran as a Kampala City Lord mayoral candidate.
Kawooya’s exceptional leadership has earned him recognition, including CEO of the Year 2021-2022 by TIG Network Afrika and Co-Chair of the Mojaloop Community Council for two out of three years.
