Surgery

My Doctor’s Surgery Division is fast growing and offers majorly In-patient services specializing in surgeries.

The WHO Surgical and Anaesthesia Care guidelines emphasize the importance of improving access to surgical care since surgery is a successful treatment for many conditions such as cancer, injuries, or obstetric complications.

However, there are five billion people in the world who do not have access to safe, timely, and affordable surgical care and anaesthesia. In developing countries, 90 percent of people lack access to even the most basic surgical services. By making surgery universally accessible, we could save many lives, decrease the incidence of disability and promote economic growth.

My Doctor and WHO share common goals of strengthening health systems to improve the delivery of surgical, obstetric, and anaesthesia care—without risking financial ruin, to all people, everywhere, anywhere.

My Doctor has created a digital community that allows people with the most basic technology to communicate directly—and safely—with our surgical and general departments. But we cannot do this alone, we can upon public and private donor organisations, healthcare agencies, and practitioners to join our service.

My Doctor is helping with the efforts of local communities to reduce the burden of surgery-related diseases that result from injuries, pregnancy-related complications, and communicable and non-communicable diseases—but still, too often cause premature death or disability.
